I HAVE SOME QUESTIONS FOR YOU!

  Hi,

So I have some Questions for whosoever is reading this;

These questions I find it Difficult to find the logic to,

1. RESPECT/CLEANLINESS

You go to a temple, You REMOVE your slippers before going inside. Fair enough.

But, when you are walking outside with your shoes or going in a Vehicle and you pass by a temple, you automatically fold your hand and pray but you DON'T REMOVE your slippers.

So we remove our slippers before going inside the temple but we don’t remove our slippers when      we Pray God from Outside. So removing slippers, is it a respect for god or is it to keep the Temple Clean?

2.
1st Birthday is always special to all parents.
They Celebrate Their Child's 1st birthday in a very grand way.
But unfortunately, the child will be the only person to spend the night without knowing what is           going on?
After all, the Birthday itself is for the child, but she does not realize what is going on.
I know that you can show photos of the first birthday to your child and make him/her happy after       5  Years. It would be an emotional moment for him/her and you.

But seriously think it through, Is LIVING IN THE MOMENT better or
LIVING IN THE PHOTOS OF THE MOMENT BETTER? If the same grand birthday
Was celebrated on her 5th birthday or so, saving up the money from her first birthday and making
It even grander. He/She would know what’s going on around her.
Don’t you think it would him/her Make happier than just looking at photos?

We moved from LIVING THE MOMENT to RECORDING THE MOMENT!???But why?

3.
When we go to a hotel, We TIP the waiter, Say around 10% of the bill that comes to around 50 bucks.
But when a Beggar Comes and asks us for 1 Rupee also, we ask him to go away.

The Waiter will get his salary whether you tip him or not, But the
Beggar, HE WON’T. What you give him is his salary.

Similarly, we are ready to buy a Coke for 40 Rs without Questioning or negotiating,
But if the Coconut Walla says one Coconut is 40 Rs we say he is a thief, he is cheating us. (Yeah
Right, he is the one who's cheating us!)

We could save up the tip and give to a Beggar if we wanted to, but we DON'T WHY?
We could have negotiated the price of a coke, but we DON’T, WHY?

What exactly are we doing here?

We are paying EXTRA money to a person who already has Money, but we refuse to pay the SAME EXTRA money to those who don’t have any.

I still have a lot more questions to ask, and so do you. But we just convince our self's saying "this is what everyone is doing. I'll also do the same." But don't you think we are just Painting on the concrete to make it look good , instead of making the concrete Strong?

If you have answers to any of these, Please make me understand in the comment box. (These are just examples, the real question is at the end of each example)

  2. Good questions !
But on the first birthday Hindus do a Pooja called ayushhomam. That is done for the well-being and health of the baby ! But a cake cutting party must be questioned !

  4. Good one! :) But i still feel someting about the 'Tip' question. Even i have felt it many a times. But there are still people who skip their evening snack and give money to a begger. Even i do. (I skip kaalaan sometimes )

Now there comes the big doubt as to what the begger does with the money we give. I have seen beggers who straight away go to a wine shop and enjoy there. But it was not the purpose for which we gave them the money. I didnt mean to tell that all of them are like that but some are, who makes us doubt ever begger (men ofcourse). So sparing money is not an issue, the doubt on them is the issues which stops us from sparing them money!

    1. You are right, but again are you sure that the waiter you tipped will not go to a bar to spend the money and instead save it up in his bank account?

  5. Arguably all the questions are correct but my answer to this is (1. I am a huge fan of Kamal Haasan and I see God in people and I too go to temple and my theory is every prayer has an outcome.
    2. I haven't celebrated my birthday grandly till date and my mother has filled people's stomach by providing food to the needy on my birthday.
3.Giving tips is generally all do

  6. We remove slippers not only for respect but also cleanliness... When we don't have that much time, we just pass by and fold our hands in prayer, i.e, we show respect the way we can under the circumstances.... The first birthday of a child is special not for the children, but for the parents. And the photo is shown to the children just to let them know that it was done.... As far as the tipping part goes, I think that most people don't give money to beggars because in the current scenario, most people believe that beggars are not actually beggars... They are just lazy people who want to make easy money. We tip a waiter for something he has done for us - served us food. I think most people follow a sort of work for money policy...
